Each year, the Angiogenesis Center recognizes a Cleveland Clinic researcher for his or her outstanding contribution to research in the field of Angiogenesis and Vascular Biology. Manuscripts with key topics such as “endothelial,” “vascular,” and “angiogenesis,” and with a publication date falling between January 1 of the previous year and June 30 of the award year, are eligible. Scoring for each manuscript is determined by a combination of its number of citations and the publishing journal’s impact factor.
