Message from the Chair
Translational Hematology and Oncology Research investigators combine clinical and basic science disciplines to conduct bench-to-bedside cancer research. Our mission is to gain novel medical insights as a basis for developing diagnostic tools and therapeutic strategies. The department—a collaboration between basic and translational researchers at Cleveland Clinic's Lerner Research Institute and clinical researchers at Taussig Cancer Institute—engages clinical and academic trainees at various career stages to cultivate robust successions of translational scientists.
